What are your plans after graduation?

After graduation, I plan to work as a public relations representative for a company outside of the Valley. I also plan to further my education and obtain a master’s degree in public administration.

Do you plan to return to the Valley?

Most definitely! I hope to leave the Valley and gain experience and later return to give back to the community with everything that I learned. With the rapid growth of the Valley, it’s a great place to raise a family.

What has your education done for you?

My education has given me the opportunity to become who I want to be and achieve my goals which have gotten me ready for the real world. It has broadened my perspective on life and given me a chance to become more open-minded for what the future has in store.

How do you feel about your UTPA experience?

My UTPA experience has by far been one of my best experiences yet. UTPA has provided me with the total university experience and has allowed me to be part of a unique community.

What is your best tip for success?

Take risks. Try everything at least once. You never know what you are capable of if you don’t try.

What advice do you have for college-bound students?

Be involved! Whether it be on campus or in the community, it’s always good to be involved so you can always have room for growing and learning new things. Being involved will also give you the chance to meet numerous people who could one day help you further your career.
