To fully protect the UT System trademarks so that they remain valuable assets for years to come, the UT System registers the marks and manages them through licensing. As part of this protection, the "™" must be present at all times when using the following:

Trademarks:

• The University of Texas-Pan American™ official logo and wordmark (green and orange block elements surrounding white star)
• The University of Texas-Pan American™
• Broncs™
• UT Pan American™
• UT Pan Am™
• Texas-Pan American™
• Bronc design with university name
• Seal design
• PA™ logo used primarily by UTPA Athletics

Registered Mark:

• UTPA®

All promotional items, print publications, web and video must comply with the trademark policy. The trademark symbol can be omitted from the official university name ONLY when being used on invitations and ads. The official university logo and trademark must still be present.
